Our investment interests mainly focus on lower tech companies and industries. Companies in Consumer Goods, Home Textile, Flooring, Manufacturing, Health and Hospitality, Real Estate, Business Services and Supply Chain/Distribution industries are our preferences.
We prefer working with companies in New England, however we will invest outside of this area if the investment meets certain criteria.
The range of companies we typically invest in have existing sales of $2,000,000 to $60,000,000 million with total transactional values from $1,000,000 to $25,000,000. Occasionally we will consider small “angel” investor investments but we are highly selective. On occasion, we will consider larger investments as well.
We only invest in or acquire companies that we can add tangible and intangible value to build the business or improve and leverage the existing business model. We support our partners and or the management of the companies we invest in. This is done both informally and ongoing when needed as advisors, and formally through Board of Directors’ Meetings. In addition to our Involvement we typically require our Partners or our management teams to have “skin in the game” and a real stake in the near and longer term outcomes.
